Gary, Another factor is the brand of the upgrades. I would actually go with the G4. I mean, my G3 300 MT is planty fast for me, so a G4 400 would be great. And another factor is that (correct me if I'm wrong) I think VPC is altivec enabled.
Anyone wanna confirm that?
