Hello, I just got a new G4 today and the sound was fine. I merged my old (9.1) system folder with Conflict Catcher. It must have overwritten some preference. Now, I don't get any sound out at all. I went to the sound control panel and there aren't any options for sound output. I tried dragging my original sound preference file back into the system folder, but that didn't help. So I subscribed to this list to ask this question. Does anybody here have any ideas? By the way, I've been a subscriber to the SuperMac list at Low End Mac for almost three years. It's a great list, but I'm ready to move on now. Thanks in advance,
