Hi dominic, I think you should be careful with that IE5.5b1 version. I think it's a fake. I just d/l it and before I opened it I checked it with ResEdit and ResCompare. I compared some resources and yes indeed some are different then the 5.0 we have, but looking at the creation dates (june 2000) and the built numbers, 2022 is 5.0 and 5501 for the 5.5beta it doesn't seem right. It's probably a 5.0beta with editted 'Startupscreen/About screen' and 'GetInfo'. I did open it and it exactly looks like 5.0. You should expect some changes in a newer version, ai't?
