i am a dedicated print designer (and occasional mac tech).
i am a QXP whiz (if that's possible).
i do everything in QXP!
i hate Quark!

until inDesign started sounding like serious competition, it was always hell
to get any sort of help out of that belligerent behemoth. i passionately
desire success for Adobe in the layout application market--they're just a
better company (that's why they're the number 2 software co. in the world).
in the mean time, i will continue to expand my knowledge and use of QXP to
take my concepts where i want them.

fortunately, QXP causes *very* few problems for my 350 & 400 Yosemite
workhorses--as long as i supply it with enough ram (i give it 200-250). it
has always been a very stable app in my experience. besides, i don't know
what i would do without it's typographic refinements and long document
features (i use 4.11 all day & have never even bothered with QPS)!

and i would like to add...CONGRATULATIONS to all those who are patient
enough to use PageMaker--long live Adobe!
