A simple test -- boot your B&W G3 without the extensions (shift key down, or
Mac OS only extensions manager set))! If that works then it should run OS X
just fine too. There's no reason your OS 9 would need an extension to run a
G4 (since the B&W & the first generation of G4s are virtually identical
machines with the exception that Apple unethically/unscrupulously disabled
G4 access through an after-sale FirmWare update).
