I don't believe it is.  I was given the impression by someone in the 
know...(at least in the know more than I)...that the Beige G3's were not 
compatible with USB 2 for one reason or another.  But, since I only know 
enough to get myself in trouble...I could easily have been misinformed.

Will there be any limitations beside speed issues if I stick with the older 
USB?  In my case, as a now ex-Boeing employee,  and starting back to school 
next week...budget is the priority...and speed is only a convenience.
