Hi all, I'm kind of in the market for buying a used B&W G3 350 Mhz with 128 MB RAM and a 6 GB HD and CDROM drive. I do not know if it's a rev A or B though... Asking price is EUR 800, 17" Vision Master Ilyama screen included. There is no modem included.
I would like to use it for internet surfing, mail, music burning ( cd-rw ) and possibly some picture editing stuff. I would also like to be able to run OSX. What do you think? Is this a good deal, knowing that I will have to upgrade the RAM ( 256MB) , buy a cdrw and a modem + possibly a network card to enable me to use a broadband internet connection ( cable or ADSL) It might also be interesting to know that I live in Belgium where Mac hardware and periphetals aren't exactly cheap...
