800 euro for a B&W G3 plus 17" CRT is a reasonable price although I have seen G4s for
about the same price here on the
Dutch and Belgium Ebay, Emmanuel.

I have a B&W G3 350 myself and it does a good job in the things you describe you wanna
do with a B&W G3. Although I would
go for a second hand G4 with AGP myself if you want to run OS X. And no problems with
rev A or B and adding a second
internal HD or not.

It's easy to add RAM to a B&W G3 (256MB maximum per slot, 4 slots thus 4x256MB= 1 GB
max); adding a CDRW is easy, I
recently installed an IDE Lite-On 24x10x40 (24102B) in my B&W.

No need to add a modem and network card if you're getting cable or ADSL, they both use
Ethernet which is built-in in a B&W
G3 or G4.

For more help, perhaps in Dutch if you like since I'm Dutch, you can mail me
privately. I also have some friends in
Belgium who know their way in the Belgium Mac market.
