I'm considering buying a G4 tower, but don't know one from the other. Speed is not that critical. I would like dual processors, but don't know how much advantage that gives. I want to run OS 8.6 or 9 because I don't like the windows look and feel of the OS x. Is altevec on all of them? Did motherboards change on any? Are any more stable than others? Any other advantages/disadvantages of any of the models. I've presently got a G3 450 and really like it.
