I just set up a beige G3 (233Mhz-pushed to 300Mhz). OS is 9.2.2. The machine is connected to a DHCP server along with several other machines (including a similar g3). I have set Appletalk to Ethernet and when I set TCP/IP to DHCP, the following error message appears:
"DHCP could not renew your TCP/IP lease. An application on you Macintosh is using the DHCP port. Contact your network Administrator." So, what do I need to do to get it to work? What's going on here? HELP! I can get it to work if I connect manually, so I doubt it is a hardware problem. Thanks. Michael -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
