know what you mean - been using bbedit lite for some time now, just cant
bring myself to spend out $115 for the full version.... bit tight i know,
but it feels slightly pricey for a text editor.

having said that, i'm sure i'm gonna get flamed, as the full version has a
load of extras...

check on http://www.download.com - i've had a quick look through and there
is some but i'm on a modem today so downloads are hefty.

let us know if you trawl somit up? i'm sure theres something out there thats
been ported from linux?
