I presume you had problems trying to get e-mail sent from Mac.com. In Outlook Express 5.0.3 it's a synch to set up a mac.com account (create a new account and enter the information that Apple gives you when you set up the account). To send e-mail you have to go to "Tools:Accounts" and double-click on the account you created for mac.com. Your POP server should be mail.mac.com but more importantly, your sending mail server, SMTP should be smtp.mac.com and you need to go into "advanced sending options" and tell it that the "SMTP server requires authentication" (and use the same login/password as your receiving server). PS I find it best to use Outlook Express' "wizard" to guide you through the process PS II I'm not sure if Netscrape or Eudora can deal with IMAP servers (I don't use Netscrape e-mail out of principle (I like my apps to be mean a lean, not fat and bloated) & I've more-or-less stopped using Eudora b/c Outlook makes it very easy to handle multiple e-mail accounts (& also allows you to "combine" two into one)).
