Well, whatever :-)

I use Eudora Pro 3.1.1, and it doesn't know anything about IMAP (me too,
and I don't care). I tried setting up the account in Entourage (which I
only use for occasional newsgroup access) as an IMAP account, but that
didn't work either.

No, not trying to send, but to recieve, but I can't get connected.

I tried asking in the discussion forum about how I could change the
preference from IMAP to POP, but all I got was a reply from the manager (or
whatever) that all up-to-date emailers would work, and to read the help
section. Which I of course already had done, - some 17 times.

I don't have any use for iPhotos or iCards, the iDisk is too slow, and I
already have a website. I don't want to waste more energy on it. Just want
the thing to go away. No, nothing in the help files for that either.
