To all beige g3 owners who have had problems with their Apple installed "personality" sound cards:
I have made a revelation (I think). As many of you, I have been having problems with sound input on my beige g3/333 for years. I believe I have found the culprit. I just upgraded to 9.2.2 and the problem that I thought was a bad card just WENT AWAY. I can now record using the standard analog input.
