If you have an standard PC (ATX) powersupply, you can try using that. You
will have to change a jumper setting (located in the back left-hand corner
at the end of the last pci slot). It has two settings, one for Mac power
supply (should be the setting to the left) and one for "PS2" (standard atx)
supply to the right. Make sure you have it set to the "PS2" setting for the
atx, and try powering it one. Also be sure that all items are securely
seated (pci cards, personality card, rom, ram, cpu, voltage regulator, and
cables). Be sure that you have the right setting for the cpu/bus speed; if
it's out of the range the cpu or logic board can handle it won't boot. All
else failing, use a pen-light to visually inspect the board. You might be
able to see the damage.
