Hi all,

Anybody use this to stay connected with an Apple Internal Modem?

It was recommended on the iBook list but of course that's a different
computer.

I've talked to Apple and Earthlink about getting d/c alot, the most they
suggested was going down to v34. I remember you all said, buy an
external modem, the internals aren't worth it.

Going down to v34 brought my connex speed to 28.8. I'd rather
have connection probs than surf that slowly.

Actually the d/c is a minor inconvenience. Most of the time it does
stay connected.
