Hi all, The MIDI sound playback on my PowerMac G4 (Sawtooth) it horribly broken. Whenever I try to play an old game that has MIDI audio or try to play any MIDI file for that matter, it sounds *horrible*. The notes all seem to have small pauses between them so that when the music plays it is stuttered very badly, enough that it is irritating to listen to even at a low volume. I am using the latest QuickTime 5 with Virtual Memory off and have no other performance (or sound) problems so processor power does not seem to be the issue at all. (After all, a 16 MHz SE/30 can play back MIDI music more flawlessly than my G4) How can I fix this?
