Well, I made the unfortunate mistake of upgrading my beige g3 to 10.1.5. It never actually finished the install process (the prebinding I suppose). I let it sit for an hour while it tried to do that last little bit. I finally got fed up and rebooted. All seemed fine for about 30 minutes, then one after another all the programs became non-responsive (including the finder). I rebooted again, but X no longer loads. It gets to the happy mac and never goes further. I'll have to swap out my Cdrom since it doesn't want to boot from the SCSI drive I'm using, and try reinstalling 10.1. If anyone has other suggestions, I'd love to hear them.
