CPU has absolutely nothing to do with the RAMs bus speed, that lies in the motherboard.. Your current hardware will work just fine. The friend who sent me the link the other day has the same G4 you do and is considering the 1Ghz.. I am too but seeing as how my 800 is only a month or two old, Im not gonna jump yet hehe..
