Greetings All! I just checked out the OWC site where the Powerlogix CPU
upgrades are being profiled. I am very interested in upgrading my G-4
400Mhz and I had a few questions I was hoping I could get some answers to
from the experts on here! There are 2 upgrades I'm interested in, a 550
Mhz($279.99) and an 800 Mhz($589.99). If I go from my 400 Mhz to the 550
Mhz, will I notice that much of a speed "bump" or increase in performance?
Would the increase or "bump" be more noticeable if I went up to the 800Mhz
CPU? If I upgrade to the 800 Mhz, would I need to also change my current
ram memory? I presently have 1.5 GB ram PC100 installed and I thought I read
somewhere that the faster CPU's take PC133, or something like that. I know
they are showing the bus speed at 100, but would it be wise to go with the
133 memory? Would there be any other items needed to be replaced/upgraded
in order to make the CPU upgrade to 800 Mhz work properly?

Thanks in advance for any and all advice and input. These new upgrades may
have saved me quite a bit if they will work and I don't need to purchase
another machine. For the record, I have a G-4 Power PC 7400 Sawtooth 400
Mhz, 1.5GB Ram, 2 hard drives, 60GB and 80GB, and an ATI 8500 Radeon AGP
Graphics card with 64 MB VRAM.

Aloha and Mahalo for your help!
