My G3 and Quadra both use the weird 3.6V lithium. There are cheap 3.0V
lithium batteries used for cameras which would be a better bet (would still
need soldering as they're a different size); except I've read that when the
voltage of the original drops to 3.0V they (the Macs) aren't reliable.
Don't feel like experimenting to see what happens with 4.5V.
