I too had this occur on my B&W 350 Yosemite Rev1 after updating to 10.1.5. I
am connected directly to a Compaq 5340 running Windows ME, via ethernet
(samba) no hub. I kept 10.1.4 on another partition and when booting from it
have no problems connecting to the other machine. No problems in either
version of the update connecting to the internet using my dial-up account.
This suggests something in the 10.1.5 update perhaps.
