machine is B&W 350 with 512 of RAM running 8.6 out of the blue beginning with printing errors (printer not found). opening up the chooser will show other volumes but they won't mount and when selecting the laserwriter a few of the printers will show up (but none of the Qs on the print server). toggle back to appleshare and there are less volumes...toggle back to printers and there is only one printer listed (should be 5 plus Qs).
i have toyed with the appletalk control panel. tossed all related prefs. i have even used another cable into this box which i would think thereby eliminates the ethernet switch as the culprit. any ideas? thanks, chet -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
