Sorry, one last comment about my CD-RW replacement (Sony 24/10/40 in B&W
G3/350 Rev 2):

WOW. Compared to the 32X that I had before this puppy flies. It's so much
quieter than the jet-engine that was a 32X and CDs seem to mount *much*,
*much* (virtually instantly) faster than before. I'm very happy with the $75
I just spent!

PS If anyone's been holding off on replacing their internal CD-ROM or
DVD-ROM (in any Beige G3, B&W G3 or G4 tower) with a CD-RW (or even
DVD/CD-RW) I'd say now is the time to do it if you can afford the $50 US
($75 CDN). (& I saw even cheaper CD-RWs)
