Hi this quote off yours does really not make any sense. No offese ment I live in a contry where you are only alowed to own rifels or shotguns, and you can only own one if you have not commited a crime and have got a permit. Here the cops don�t carry guns. This is why pepole are not gunned down in the heat of the moment , or drunken rage here in Iceland, which is what happens when guns are lying around everywhere.
Nobody would like to allow handguns or semi-automatic vepons here in Iceland. Everyone agrees that it would be a huge mistake and the police don�t even want to carry guns. They have only had to make an exeption when we had a NATO summit here the other day. (the situation in the world as it is thees days) I would like to point out that: 1. If everyone has a gun, the criminals are all going to have guns to! 2. Guns do not detere crime, it only makes it worse and the consequence's more serios. 3. Guns make spineless men often feel invinsible. 4. Guns don�t kill pepole, pepole kill pepole whith guns. 5. Handguns have no practical use exept in defese or offence I know that it is not as simple as to say that you should just ban all handguns in America and problem solved with all thees guns lying around. But stil I whish that someday you wil be rid of all your handguns and that they wil only be on displey in wild west museums where they cant hurt anyone.
