Yes, I read that. My problem is that when booting from the external SCSI HDD, the Mac doesn't see the internal IDE partition that houses the OSX that's loaded on it. I do have the second partition that has both 9 & 10 on it (IDE HDD), but I need to revisit that 'forgotten' partition. George
