that is rather bizarre, try checking you're extensions and deleting the
finder pref's and rebooting.  what is it that you are subscribed to? 
you might check the relevant web site to see if they have any
explanation.  i'd guess it's related to an extension of some sort, but i
couldn't guess which or why.
