Hi, All ! Trying to configure a 56K 3Com Robotics Sportster #005689-02
Using Free PPP - V 2.6.2 with a standard MAC G3/266MT OS 9.1 Modem control panel set for Hayes Accura 56K (no choice for 56K Robotics Sportster) Need an init string that will: *knock the modem off line when a call comes in via Call Waiting *allow me to send fax Am using: AT&F&D0&H3&12&R2S7=90 But: Modem reverts to some generic string that flashes off so fast that I cannot get it. I can send fax - but - the modem won't hang up when the Call Waiting clicks in. My old Fast MAC V.34 would allow me to get calls. Old init was: AT&F&C1&D2&K3%C1%E1S95=47 Am enjoying the slight increase in speed ( 40 bps - up from 26 ) but need to be able to receive calls. Can not find useful info at http://www.usr.com/ or elsewhere on the net. USR Tech Support has not replied and Earthlink's suggestion was to look on the net. Help ! Please ???
