Brilliant reply, Eric, even if Yahoo truncated the
message (nothing important).
Quick response: niche suppliers will most likely not
survive the coming/arriving slump in computers. I
recently sold a B&W Conectix video cam (Mac serial
connection) from @1994-5. Back then it was capable of
video streaming but the bandwidth access didn't appear
until much later (esp. in Canada) and is now climbing
in price. Anything that exists already (and/or can be
adapted to 'obsolete' hardware) that can lower the
cost of computing/Internet access will survive a
little while longer and hopefully ride out the slump.
