Linda, I am looking at G4's also. I thought about a scsi card, but decided against it. I plan on hooking up my beige G3 to my not-yet-purchased 933G4 with ethernet and transferring files from my old G3 and its scsi periphials to the new machine. There is more to using your legacy equipment than a scsi card. Best to keep the old machine with the old periphials and when you are ready, buy new periphials with new drivers and software that are compatible with the new machine.
