Philip, one of my favourite gags was the one a few years ago on the tv show 'newsradio', where from memory Bill crowed about his 'adequacity' in a performance review. A fun new word to make up! About heat - I guess another problem from stuff running fast & hot is that in some cases the host computer (beige/b&w or whatever) might have its power supply being pushed very hard, especially if it is driving PCI cards, several HDs etc. One more thing - some day PCs will probably have a built-in temp gauge, like cars ;) Thank you for previous feedback - I still need to butcher my Sun 19" inside to rig up a VGA cable!
