Hi all, I couldn't find a "printers" list, and I suspect it has more to do
with the computer than the printer...

I've been having constant trouble with a LaserJet 1200. It's connected to
the network through a JetDirect 175x.
The problem is that a couple of times now it has vanished from the chooser,
the last time being during printing. It stopped printing in the middle of
a job but would not resume or print anything else. I reset the Appletalk
name through the browser interface and could then find the printer in the
chooser. However, the setup stalls during autosetup at the message
"status: printing". After a minute setup stops but doesn't complete.
I can select the 1200 ppd to setup the printer, but then it doesn't want to
print. When trying to print to the 1200, the light on the front of the
printer blinks, and nothing ever happens. I can set up the printer from
another computer and print fine, so why can't I print from this one
anymore? FYI, it's a TiBook, OS 9.2.2

I'm concerned about fixing the immediate problem of being able to print,
but I'd like to stop
this from continuing to happen. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Chris
