Possession of the manual is illegal, in Apple's eyes. Also, our lists
are digested for free online. That's providing information to their
location, thus making anyone able to surf to get access those
manuals. What we don't want is Apple breathing their legalese down
our necks and as I will be hosting these lists in a few months, I
don't need or want trouble with Apple Computer, Inc. If Dan wanted to
allow it I would deny him that for legal reasons. I cannot afford to
deal with lawyers when I already have 18-hour days with projects.
Sorry about that, but it's all to do with Apple and their tendancy to
drop an anvil, per say, on the site, publisher and host company.
