You don't need to swap out the whole motherboard, just
put the newer ROM board in the older MB, and you will
be fine.

It would not work correctly the other-way round
however (Older ROM in newer MB).

I'm afraid I only have a G3 tower, so i dont know if
the MB's are the same, I am guessing yes as a
cost-reducing device, but Peter has both, so he will
no doubt know.  However, if you locate a rev B/C rom
board, there is no need to swap the MB's.
