that is by far the worst security problem i've heard of.  microsoft is
lying as usual when they dismiss it, it's trivial for someone to
intercept some traffic, record the info, and have the home user and the
commercial server both know nothing about it, the order could even go
through just like the customer expected.  if you don't think
intercepting web traffic is easy, consider that amazon.com has a suit
pending against barnes and noble who apparently intercepted many emails
from amazon customers and tried to steal the customers away.  what a
beautiful thing microsoft has done, take any ones certificate and assume
it's valid rather than checking!  it's like a dead bolt that opens for
any key, it provides a false sense of security but any one can come in
and rape you in the night.
