Just adding my 2 cents. I went from a Umax S900/200 (far faster than a 7100) and bought this G3 Beige (came with a 266). I am now running OS 9.22 in it, and am quite content. The speed difference was most noticeable. I can tell you I probably do more web page work, graphics and other work then Mom does, and I believe you can use 9.22 (or 9.1) and she will be more than happy. Just keep the Ram pumped up.
