Just wondering if anyone else has had problems burning an audio CD in Toast
5.1.4 while using a firewire burner and OS X. I have B&W 300 (rev.A) with
448 megs of ram and a crapload of disc space. Now, I'm using an 8X4X32
Skydata firewire burner (I believe underneath all this is a Sony). Anyway,
I can't seem to successfully burn audio CD's under OS X.1.5. I keep getting
either a buffer-underrun error or a writing error. Either way I just get
coasters (even simulation fails). Burning data is no problem only audio
cd's give me the errors. When I tried burning the same mp3's in 9.2.2 using
Toast 5.1.4 I have NO problems what-so-ever. I haven't tried using Classic.
Anyone have any ideas as to why OS X hates firewire burners with Toast and
mp3's?
