Hi All: I'm having desperate problems with my G4 450 AGP. It's been freezing up lately. Can't restart it at all, so I end up having to pull the plug. For a while, it would restart if I left it unplugged a while. Lately, it's not restarting at all. When I try to start it, the fan powers up, the power light comes on, but that's it--no bong, no hard drive rattle, can't open the CD to try to boot from CD--nothing. With the case open, I noticed that a bright red diode (D55) near the RAM is lit up--like it's trying to call attention to something. (Having never looked in the case with the machine on before, I have no idea if that diode is supposed to be on or not--it doesn't show to the outside, so I sort of suspect it's not supposed to be lit.)
Any ideas?? Thanks in advance, Joe -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
