Hmm. Have you seen the way that cable snakes around inside? I suspect 
it's a pain to replace. It also looks rather specialized. You might have 
to get it from an Apple repair place; who knows if you can just buy it 
and do it yourself?

I''m inclined to believe that isn't the problem for me, at least with 
the new logic board, as I just reseated it when installing the board. 
But, it does point to my question (posted separately) about the fault 
being with the logic board or the power supply. Or, power supply 
cabling, I suppose.
