I just installed a G4 500 ZIF in my Beige DT, it's working perfectly in 9.1, with the cache, and Altivec both enabled. However when I select X in the startup disk control panel, and restart it restarts back into 9.1.
The XLR8 folder has something called Startup Disk Maker in it which supposedly fixes this problem by modifying the Starup Disk control panel, does anybody have any experience with this. I don't want to modify it until I have some feedback from people who have used it. Are there any other solutions to this apparently Beige specific problem?
