Well I gave in and bought a copy yesterday. A little too anxious to get the update for my Powerbook in the mail hehe. So I installed it on my desktop and my powerbook and there are some weird differences between the two now.
First off, the Powerbooks login screen now has the Other user on it. Also changed my icons all back to nothing. My QS G4 800 stayed exactly as it was with 10.1.5, just has me and my custom icon. Now theres no option to display or remove the Other user in the System prefs. Anyone know how to possibly get rid of this?? Second, on the Powerbook some of the app icons, namely Quake 3, reverted to that generic white paper with the applications A on it. I donšt think I can rebuild the desktop in X and try to get them back. Couple others did this too like Peak 3.0.. Anyway to remedy this?? -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
