I know that it took Apple forever to get the 100 MHz bus boards out the 
door, so it's likely the rev A did have residual 'issues'. By the time 
they shipped, the rest of the world was already moving to 133 MHz. So, I 
don't think it was problems with Yosemite, per se, that led to Sawtooth 
appearing so quickly. It was just a need to keep up with the PC Joneses. 
On the other hand, USB is still pretty problematic on the AGP G4s, at 
least under OS 9. Not the best technology to ever come out of little ol' 
Integrated Electronics...

Anyway, I'm now on a rev B... and surely the more glaring glitches from 
the rev A & B iMacs and the rev A B&W got some attention when they were 
working on the redesign.
