After reading of a few people's probs with no restart, just the fan
running(I have had this recently w/ my Beige G3) I was going to try testing
the PRAM battery but something simpler worked at least this time.

My prof in comp serv tech class said the other night that a "no startup"
prob was solved , like 90% of the time in the lab's Pentium PC's by pulling
the processor and putting it back in! I did this this morning and it
restarted immediately.
Comments? I know it's stupid but I like to make it work again without
believing the mobo's dead, or the HDD is dead, so I say prayers and rub the
lamp first, it's cheaper.
