my browser (netscape 4.75, os 9.1) chokes on it a little to, turning off java script and java (i've rarely seen a site that uses java as opposed to java script) helps, i also have my firewall setup to block most of the ad servers, which usually mandates turning off java script since some of the sites go into an infinite loop trying to get the ads, or i hit stop once it stalls and then the page displays. i've had major problems with the rest of their site, apparently they've got lots of flash stuff and other silliness (on a 26k connection i really don't have the time to wait for silly multimedia that adds little to the site). guess it's time to try icab again, i refuse to run internet explorer, particularly considering the latest gigantic security hole in it (it doesn't verify the validity of site certificates for secure sites, hasn't for at least the past 6 years, it just accepts any old certificate, sort of like a dead bolt that any key can open). with security holes that obvious and pathetic i hate to think what other bugs it might have, security and otherwise.
