Hi Jerry,

Not zackly sure of the sypmtoms you describe, other than blank screen.  
Could you be a bit more specific/detailed...?  As for blank screen, loss 
of video is one of the first signs of dead/dying PRAM battery - that'd 
be the first thing I'd check.

No external video controls, it's all in Monitors control panel.  The 
all-in-ones have PCI slots and could possibly have video cards 
installed, but I doubt a school would have sprung for any extras like 
that.  Hmm, you say you checked the video card...?  Details...?  The 
standard video is from an onboard chip - that could be fried, but 
somewhat doubtful....
