i would say the main difference between the two would how long, relatively speaking each computer waits for us to make a decision on what key to hit next. i read somewhere that 1 second in our time was equivalent to 17 years for a computer, i'm not exactly sure as it was a while ago but i think it was referring to a 68k mac probably a Quadra
