Hello
I am on a B&W G3 Yosemite , V1 MOBO.

For your info , on 10.2, my external SCSI Yamaha 8x4x24 Burner
interfaced with an Adaptec PD2930U SCSI Card does not burn using Toast
5.4
It is recognized only ( by the ASP) as a CD ROM; and does work as
such. So the Adaptec Card is doing its job!

On 10.1.5 , no problem, burning with this combo was 100%

This was the same problem when OS10.0 was released. Had to go to the
10.1.3 update before apple corrected the software bus scanning problem
for SCSI devices!

Various on-line forums have posted this problem( like ( Mac OS X Hints,
MacWorld, etc )
Various hacks have been posted, but none have worked for me

But "love" 10.2 because of " spring folders" ( like 9x) and the fact
that Epson 740 printer tools are now provided so that I do not have to
bootup back to OS9.2.2 to clean the printer heads!
