I've followed (like St Peter: afar off) some of the seemingly endless discussions about the problems presented by OS X. And I'm wondering, if it it is such a beast why anyone would bother with it. Obviously it must have some advantages, unless you X users are super masochists...
So can someone tell me - briefly - why X is better? & for what? As for me I'm happy with my Beige G3 using 9.1. I'm going to beef it up a bit with more RAM & processor upgrades later; maybe get adventurous and get 9.2 (should I?) meantime I can't see moving to X until there are far fewer problems.
