this might be an extremely dumb, if not utterly elemental question, 
but... i seem to notice that on my G3 and G4, compared to back when I 
used pre-G macs, there's a lot of memory related crashes and 
corruptions that I "suspect" have a lot to do with how much material 
one heaps on the desktop. i've been a desktop-a-holic forever. i keep 
so much on my desktop its rather ridiculous. Anyone ever read 
anything specific on this? Is it stressful to the system? memory? etc?
