Hello all, I've come across an annoying problem on my G4 867. I recently installed 10.2 and whenever I put my Mac to sleep, it wakes up without an IP address. It gets its IP address from the PC that provides our internet connection here on my home network. If I log off and back on (not restart) the IP address comes back....or if I wait about 5 minutes without doing anything, the IP address comes back. Without the IP address, I can't connect to the net or get email (of course). On this same network, I have a G4 dual 1 gig and it's also running 10.2 and it doesn't experience this problem. Only software I have added to it is Appleworks 6 (OS X version) Photoshop 7, Fruitmenu, Xounds and Metallizer. Does anybody have any ideas on this? It's annoying but not 'unworkable'.
